Season 3 Ep2 of Robot Chicken featured a clip that made me soil myself, nearly.

Cee-Lo Green and Ethan Hawke in a Robot Chicken variation on the ‘Training Day’ theme, with Cee-Lo taking on the character of Denzel Washington [it helps if you know the movie, but not essential]…..this is banana milkshakes…

‘My lizard’…

The two mixes below are by ex-writer and London graffiti king, alternative dark disco supremo Richard Sen. One compilation and one very rare mix of obscure breaks.

Various Artists – Powercuts [The Essential B-Boy Classics] Obsessive Records. Featuring music from a time when ropes were anti-fashion as opposed to high-fashionista. Some of the dopest electro ever top-rocked to is featured on this comp from 2002. Don’t sleep.

Another Richard Sen exclusive is the ‘Styles vs Technique’ Mix [Broadcast Copy] feat many many artists from way too many genres, just cop it, listen and enjoy. This was due to be broadcast of XFM in London, don’t know if it ever did tbh.

If you wanna’ break it down to the knuckle-bone, this is one of the finest ‘breaks’ mixes ever; AC/DC, Rush, Yoko Ono, Colourbox, some Buchannan & Goodman and the nuttiest of nutty Irish jig type tracks with the sickest Zulu drums and violin ever !!!?? With plenty of left-turns, this is tight as feck [that's Irish for fuck].

BTW. Both mixes is rare as hen’s teeth.

Sometimes brainworm [gettin a song stuck in yer head for days] ain’t all that distressing, unless it’s this, then yer’ in trouble, deep !!

Ghetto Bass, the heavyweight B-Side to one of the finest Rap records ever, Trow the D by the Two Live Crew.

Pimp C has found himself defending his opinions on the current state of Rap and all the fake d-boy candy ass rappers and one hit wonders. He also offers his views on timezones and daylight saving in ATL after an interview published in Ozone mag outta’ Houston hears him call out Atlanta Rappers as fakes and frauds.

Check the mp3 of the follow-up here after you’ve read and understood the depths of the gospel of trill according to Pimp Chad Butler.

The fastidious folk over at BosBos have kindly compiled a totally unofficial but rather tender and perfect sounding Soundtrack to Electroma. Remember, no dialogue in this flick, and no compositions from the french chaps either. Some fine music though.

Just watched the first few minutes of this and had to reach for standby as i know i’ll nod off, it’s very late. The beauty of it looks like it demands attention.

DJ U-Turn from the One Day Later blog has been droppin’ dope mixes for tamale time [the current Prince mix is running all things purple.

Here's another, on Brooklyn-Radio, strictly Daft Punk tracks, mixes, productions, side-liners etc...Do not front on this mix, it's champagne !!

There are teases of original samples, shaves of breaks, full extended versions and even a few nuggets of Guy and Tommy discussing how they came to be in robotic form. All thoroughly entertaining. Thankfully no Barry Manilow. Peep the blog for stupid amounts of dope music too.

FYI. DJ U-Turn is also the first blog-fucker to offer the complete track-listing for Trevor Nelson's Party-Mix. For that alone, big up his cock !!
